The Spirituality of Money

Stewardship Financial Services, Inc.

This site focuses on the beliefs, issues and actions that relate giving and charity to the most fulfilling aspects of our lives.

What is the relationship of giving to the ways that we get the most out of our lives, really?

And if you can have more from life, why would you accept less?

We believe that TRUE STEWARDSHIP is the way to answer these questions, and also that it must involve giving, charity and tithing.

Tithing was required by biblical “law” in pre-Christian times. However, today tithing is considered to be “true stewardship” (i.e., of one’s personal finances) and is a spiritual challenge, not a law. Thus tithing, or true stewardship, is a centerpiece of what might be termed “spiritual economics”.

Giving involves more than the giving of money. However, giving should begin with the giving of money, using 10% of one’s net as a foundation for financial giving.

You cannot get the most from life without giving!

This is not just a belief. It is a scientific fact!

True stewardship affects the total balance or our being that suffuses us as we go through life.

True stewardship manifests as a deep contentment that we feel in our relationships with our God, others in our community and ourselves.

What can and must we do to improve the lives of others and those who are close to us?

How should we balance the spiritual, mental and the material aspects of our lives in our feelings, thoughts and actions?
